Football Nation Radio (‘FNR’), Australia’s only radio streaming service devoted wholly to football, has joined forces with the Football Writers’ Festival as media partner.
The Festival attracts fans, readers, thinkers, and writers from major publications and broadcasters, and includes a who’s who of football writing, journalists and administration.
FNR is delighted to be a part of, and support, the Football Writers Festival - an innovator in the Australian football landscape.
As well as authors of books written about football in the past 15 months, the Festival will hear from journalists and broadcasters as well as some of the game’s top administrators including FFA CEO, James Johnson.
The Football Writers’ Festival will cover issues as diverse as Indigenous development in the game, what needs to be done to ensure that hosting the 2023 women’s World Cup leaves a legacy for the sport, and the latest on what is widely anticipated as a ‘re-boot’ of the A-League from season 2020/21.
As part of the media partnership, FNR will have exclusive use of some of the sessions for later broadcast on its network.
The Football Writers’ Festival includes one-on-one conversations and Q&A panel discussions.
It will be held in Manly (Sydney) and the entry fee for two days of football talk is just $15.
FNR joins the Johnny Warren Football Foundation as foundation sponsor of the Football Writers' Festival, StreamGate as Technology Partner and Festival founder, Fair Play Publishing.
