INAUGURAL FOOTBALL WRITERS' FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND

The first Football Writers’ Festival gets underway in Jamberoo (NSW) this weekend.


Presented as a celebration of football, writing and ideas, the Festival has attracted some heavy-hitters in the local football world, as well as two keynote international guests.

One of the world’s leading sports investigative journalists will be the headline guest at the inaugural Football Writers’ Festival to be held in March next year.


German journalist and author, Jens Weinreich, specialises in the international politics of sport, international organised crime in sport, and bidding for mega-events for both the Olympics and FIFA.
